HORSERADISH SAUCE WITH ALMONDS

You will need:

2 cups sour cream

1 tbsp. flour

A few drops of lemon juice

1 fresh horseradish root (1/2 lb.), grated

1 cup blanched almonds, chopped finely

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Salt and sugar to taste

Mix the sour cream with the flour in a bowl, preferably a wooden one. Sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice over the grated horseradish and add it to the sour cream. Add the almonds. Bring the broth to a boil in a saucepan and add the sour cream mixture slowly, stirring constantly. Then cook sauce on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Season with salt and sugar.
