Calontir has six Baronies:
Coeur d'Ennui (Des Moines, Iowa)
Founded as a Shire of the Middle Kingdom in 1978,
Elevated to Barony status on July 10, 1982.
Forgotten Sea (Kansas City Metro)
Founded as a Shire of the Middle Kingdom in November 1976.
Elevated to Barony status on February 10, 1979.
Lonely Tower (Omaha, Nebraska)
Founded as a Shire of the Middle Kingdom in July 1979.
Elevated to Barony status on June 21, 1986.
Mag Mor (Lincoln, Nebraska)
Founded as a Shire of the Middle Kingdom in October 1982.
Elevated to Barony status on January 20, 1996.
Three Rivers (St. Louis, Missouri)
Founded as a Shire of the Middle Kingdom in 1975.
Elevated to Barony status on May 27, 1978.
Vatavia (Wichita, Kansas)
Founded as a Shire in May 1978
Elevated to Barony status on April 5, 1981.
Advancement approved by BoD on 3/8/81
First Baronial court on 4/5/81.
[Side-Note: The Barony of Dumnonia was founded in
Iowa City, Iowa in December 1975, but became defunct before the founding of
Calontir. The Iowa City area is now home to the Shire of Shadowdale.]
